Rate Increase

Due to rising costs of supplies, repair parts, and other expenses, the water system will implement a rate increase beginning with your 4/1/2024 water bill.  Louisiana Rural Water Association conducted a rate study and it showed we needed to increase rates to keep up with expenses.  The rate for residential customers will be $22/2,000 gals and $6.50 for every 1,000 gals thereafter.  Commercial customers will be $27/2,000 gals and $6.75 for every 1,000 gals thereafter.  The $1.00 fee will still be added, we have to send that to the Dept of Health.  The $2.00 surcharge will no longer be added to your bill.
